Time Flies!

Hello whoever is viewing my blog!

I know I was supposed to blog until my birthday but, a couple of things have happened:
1. It's the time of year for Pittsburgh's 3 Rivers Art Festival!

-(I missed the first day because my best friend's lil' bro graduated and went to support! (Congrats Jason!) and Edward Sharpe & his crew performed the first night which I'm sure was great!) but it's a great festival filled with all variations of art (paintings, sculptures, drawings, and all the music (FREE MUSIC)!) I spent the day with my friends and ended the festival at The Point, we sat by the river, fed the hungry geese, and then got some Chipotle (love of my life)!

2. I volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the Color Me Rad 5K Run!

-When I say we were covered in pink...that's an understatement! We signed up to just pass out water during the race but ended up throwing color bombs (#teampink let's go! lol) It was an amazing experience to see all those people cross the finish line and toss pink a them! It would have been a great story to cover (as my bff said) but, we were all just as exhausted as the runners by the end of the race!

So besides this busy weekend, It's really hard to believe that my birthday is in 4 days! I'm usually semi-excited about my birthday, but, since I hit the landmark of my 21st, it's just seems to be another birthday....well it feels like it.

My good friend Christine's birthday was yesterday, and when speaking with her she didn't seem as excited for her birthday as I was, and saying that she had more things going on that she had to focus on...and I'm starting to understand it the closer my birthday comes up...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE birthdays! It's a great way to celebrate life, another way to gather friends/family together and be appreciative of what we have and how lucky we are to all see another year with this loved one. But, stress and other things are clouding my mind recently and I'm just trying to figure things out for me.

But, hopefully after I finish typing this, I'll start to get more excited but I am happy to just see another birthday!

It's Friday...and I STILL ain't got no job...

(LOL! jk it's just Tuesday) But it's starting to hit me and I'm feeling a little pressure because it's been...I want to say, 2 weeks since I've been home and I haven't gotten a call back yet! I did however have a group interview at.... YES! If I work here I'll smell like goodness all the time! ;) Bath & Body Works! I applied there once before (when I just turned 16 and found out I was too young) and I didn't even get a call back..so to have a group interview was pretty bomb. I applied to a lot of places that claimed that they were hiring so prayerfully I'll be getting a call back soon! Shoot...I even applied back to The Maxx (which if you knew me...you know how hard it was for me!) So fingers crossed I get a couple calls back? I have a lot of things coming up that I need to save for...and unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting the car I wanted...but..you know what?  LET'S KEEP IT POSITIVE! Peace and Love... ...

Beauty-ness-ness?

Okay so...I know I'm like SUPER late...but, I just started stalking ...watching all of Michelle Phan's YT videos and why didn't anyone tell me? I already watched Andrea'sChoice entire video log a couple summers ago and now I have a new Beauty Guru to follow! (No offense A.C.! I luhh you girl! I will ALWAYS watch you!) I love how she gives you a background on all of the reason of why this scrub is good and why you need to do this or that (which is why I fell in love with A.C. too!). If you give me reasons behind to goodness of rubbing sugar and tomato on my face , then OF COURSE I'll try it! haha I've been on this kick of finally  treating my body as the temple it is, so I've been buy products to jump start the process. I'm hoping that by the time I move into my apartment in the Fall that I'll have a regimen together and will stick to it! As for the exercising...well...we'll cross that bridge when we get to it...hah! P.S. I also love ...

Life thoughts 2013-A new beginning?
