So, I have wanted to write a piece/blog about the subject for a while but never sat down to write about it. Until I came across this story* on Nadia Aboulhosn's blog (it basically sums up my entire thoughts): A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. My birthday...is tomorrow! Basically here....and the excitement is rising. I really don't know why it feels like that? Maybe, (and this is a slightly sad thing to think but just maybe) it's because I feel special? Like I finally feel like the attention is on me? (Is that too much of a woman thing to say?) Oh well. It's how I feel. Like finally , it's my day! I was born this day! The person you call daughter, cousin, "sister," best friend, friend, person-that-makes-me-smile was brought into the world (and got-dammit, you're going to celebrate me hah)! It's weird because it just feels like it won't be something too big. Like, if I had today my way? Here's a few things I would want to happen: 1. I want to spend the day of my birthday with my momma, my cousin, my best friend/friends for a lunch/dinner and then get ready for the night! 2. Hello whoever is viewing my blog! I know I was supposed to blog until my birthday but, a couple of things have happened: 1. It's the time of year for Pittsburgh's 3 Rivers Art Festival! -(I missed the first day because my best friend's lil' bro graduated and went to support! (Congrats Jason!) and Edward Sharpe & his crew performed the first night which I'm sure was great!) but it's a great festival filled with all variations of art (paintings, sculptures, drawings, and all the music (FREE MUSIC)!) I spent the day with my friends and ended the festival at The Point, we sat by the river, fed the hungry geese, and then got some Chipotle (love of my life)! 2. I volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House Charities for the Color Me Rad 5K Run! -When I say we were covered in pink...that's an understatement! We signed up to just pass out water during the race but ended up throwing color bombs (#teampink let's go! lol) It was an amazing experience to...

Okay so...I know I'm like SUPER late...but, I just started stalking ...watching all of Michelle Phan's YT videos and why didn't anyone tell me? I already watched Andrea'sChoice entire video log a couple summers ago and now I have a new Beauty Guru to follow! (No offense A.C.! I luhh you girl! I will ALWAYS watch you!) I love how she gives you a background on all of the reason of why this scrub is good and why you need to do this or that (which is why I fell in love with A.C. too!). If you give me reasons behind to goodness of rubbing sugar and tomato on my face , then OF COURSE I'll try it! haha I've been on this kick of finally  treating my body as the temple it is, so I've been buy products to jump start the process. I'm hoping that by the time I move into my apartment in the Fall that I'll have a regimen together and will stick to it! As for the exercising...well...we'll cross that bridge when we get to it...hah! P.S. I also love ...

(LOL! jk it's just Tuesday) But it's starting to hit me and I'm feeling a little pressure because it's been...I want to say, 2 weeks since I've been home and I haven't gotten a call back yet! I did however have a group interview at.... YES! If I work here I'll smell like goodness all the time! ;) Bath & Body Works! I applied there once before (when I just turned 16 and found out I was too young) and I didn't even get a call back..so to have a group interview was pretty bomb. I applied to a lot of places that claimed that they were hiring so prayerfully I'll be getting a call back soon! Shoot...I even applied back to The Maxx (which if you knew me...you know how hard it was for me!) So fingers crossed I get a couple calls back? I have a lot of things coming up that I need to save for...and unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting the car I wanted...but..you know what?  LET'S KEEP IT POSITIVE! Peace and Love... ...
